Spent a lovely Christmas at a grand historic house by a lake. Enjoyed the cozy atmosphere and beautiful surroundings with walking paths and sea cabins. the vegan dinner and tea buffet had good variety and tasted delicious. the spa room with a sauna and jacuzzi was heaven on earth.
Breakfast was underwhelming with no vegan alternatives despite prior notice. the room was spacious and cozy but lacked some amenities that we had expected.

Very nice ambience and grounds, room was good no aircon could be a problem in hot weather, lakeside not see but good for swimming and a beach nearby as well as pontoon.
The after wedding disco destroyed my sleep as it started at 11.30pm and finished about 02.30, very noisy and lots of drumming. if Booking check for the wedding disco

I had a fantastic stay at this luxurious hotel by the lake. The location on the pier next to the "spa" house made it perfect for a romantic getaway. I loved spending time in the lake and enjoying the beautiful surroundings. The service at this place was top-notch, with room service, car hire, dry cleaning, and laundry all available. The airport shuttle and shuttle service were very convenient, and I appreciated the wake-up service. The welcome drink was a nice touch, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The room amenities, including ironing facilities, heating, and a mini-bar, were excellent. The terrace provided a lovely spot to relax, and the flat-screen TV and AM/FM alarm clock were great for entertainment. The dining options were impressive, with a restaurant and bar/lounge area serving fantastic meals and continental breakfast. The spa and wellness centre offered a range of relaxing amenities, including a sauna and jacuzzi. The beach access and barbeque grills were a nice addition, and I indulged in a massage at the spa lounge. The sun terrace and sun loungers were perfect for enjoying the beautiful weather, and the garden area added to the tranquil atmosphere. The on-site car park and luggage storage were convenient, and the 24-hour reception and security provided peace of mind. this hotel offered a perfect blend of comfort, luxury, and relaxation.
I highly recommend this hotel to families.

magnificent structure. sweden of yesteryear!
the magnificence of the exteriors is belied by by the interior decoration. the owner, or his surrogates, should be ashamed of the tawdry and cheap nature of the furnishings, the wallpaper in the rooms, and the failure to match in anyway the architectural worth of the structures themselves.

We loved the spacious and clean room with a comfy bed. The spa was fantastic, with a great view and four jacuzzis. We enjoyed a relaxing hot stone massage and spent the whole day soaking up the sun. The location by the lake and pier was perfect for a refreshing swim.
Nothing to dislike.

My family and I enjoyed a peaceful getaway by the lake. We loved strolling by the pier next to spa house and borrowing bikes for a ride. Our room was large and cosy, with a lovely view of the lake. the breakfast was enjoyable, and the staff was friendly.
The dinner was not up to our expectations.

Spent a memorable New Year's Eve with family at this European country hotel. The surrounding scenery was stunning and the hotel offered outdoor jacuzzis and a sauna for relaxation. The breakfast buffet was delicious with a variety of options. The dinner was a fixed menu and a bit pricey, but definitely worth the cost for the quality and taste of the food. The staff did an excellent job of making us feel welcome and comfortable.
The room was slightly dated and could've used a bit of updating. The bed wasn't the most comfortable and could've used better pillows.
